About

Built on relationships, rooted in community.

Forest City Frontline Security exists because Kyle and Jaiveer believed security in vulnerable settings could be and had to be done differently.

Co-Founder

Kyle Christiansen

Indigenous-led. Community-rooted.

Forest City Frontline Security is proudly Indigenous-led by Co-Founder Kyle Christiansen, a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to creating positive change within his communities. With community roots and a strong commitment to service, Kyle co-founded the company with a vision of reducing barriers between security professionals and the people they serve.

Throughout his career, Kyle has worked closely with community-based organizations and Indigenous communities, gaining valuable experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. His years of work with First Nations Health and Crisis Support teams have strengthened his understanding of the challenges many people face and the importance of building respectful, supportive relationships.

With years of direct frontline experience supporting vulnerable individuals, and training in Non-violent Crisis Intervention, ASIST Suicide Intervention, Mental Health First Aid, and Indigenous Cultural Humility, Kyle brings the lived insight and professional tools that this work requires.

Security professionals should be seen as approachable, compassionate, and community-focused leaders not as obstacles to the people we're meant to serve. — Kyle Christiansen

His goal is to create opportunities for community growth, support rehabilitation initiatives through partnerships, and help individuals build stronger futures while maintaining safe environments for businesses, residents, and organizations.

Under Kyle's leadership, Frontline Security is committed to giving back through community partnerships, life-skills development initiatives, and donating a portion of company profits to support community growth, rehabilitation programs, and supportive environments for community members.

Jaiveer Singh Tomar

Security Expert, Human-first.

Co-founder and President Jaiveer Singh Tomar brings a unique combination of technical expertise, security industry knowledge, and community experience to Forest City Frontline Security.

With close to a decade of experience in the Information Technology sector, Jaiveer has developed strong skills in problem-solving, systems management, communication, and operational efficiency. His technology background helps the company develop and implement modern security solutions and maintain high professional standards.

Jaiveer also brings years of hands-on experience in the security industry. Working alongside guard teams across a range of environments, he saw the gaps that often go unaddressed. Guards were placed in complex situations without proper training, personnel were left to manage mental health, addiction and trauma without the right support, and communities were rarely felt seen by the people hired to keep them safe.

Security in vulnerable settings needs to be done differently with better training, stronger support for guards, and a more human approach to the people being served. — Jaiveer Singh Tomar

Jaiveer has years of working directly in hands-on community support roles, helping vulnerable individuals navigate challenges and access essential services. He has served with frontline community-based agencies and supportive housing organizations.

His experience working directly with individuals facing housing instability, addiction, and other life challenges has reinforced the importance of empathy, communication, and community engagement. Jaiveer understands that true safety comes not only from security measures but also from supporting people and building connections.

Our commitment to community.

Frontline was built to do security differently. Our work centers on the organizations and people most often underserved by traditional security. Those that need security professionals trained for complex situations, prepared to support vulnerable populations, and grounded in respect for the communities they serve. We serve supportive housing, shelters, and community mental health and addictions treatment and service organizations across London, Middlesex and Elgin County. We also support residential propreties, buisnesses, construction sites, and events throughout the region. Every contracts we sign feeds back in the community we serve.

Our company is built on three core principles:

  • Professional, values-aligned security. Trained, licensed personnel who understand the populations they serve.
  • Genuine relationships with the communities we serve. Security that connects rather than excludes.
  • A structural commitment to give back. A fixed percentage of our annual profit is committed in writing in to support community organizations. Named recipients. Public reporting. Real dollars.

3%
of annual profit. every year.
Our pledge — in writing

When you hire us, your contract funds community work.

Three percent of our annual profit goes to London-area community organizations — Indigenous agencies, supportive housing communities, mental-health support services, and addiction recovery programs. As we grow, the contribution grows with us.
